2025 Graduate Profile: Jovie Santos

Jovie Santos began at North Seattle College in Fall 2022 after 23 years as a stay-at-home mom raising three boys. With her boys starting their own journeys, Santos felt it was finally her turn to pursue her own.
Her family, her husband and their three boys inspire her every day. Their support and determination remind her that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
Santos found NSC’s Bachelor of Applied Science program in Residential and Commercial Property Management online, and everything quickly fell into place. The night and virtual classes allowed her to balance school, work, and family. She also benefited greatly from campus resources, like borrowing a laptop and using equipment for her photography class.
Education has always been important in Jovie’s family, and going back to school gave her the chance to lead by example. This degree is more than an achievement — it is a message that it is never too late to start fresh and build a better future.
What is next for Jovie? She is excited to start her career in residential property management, working with new investors to promote affordable housing and support communities.
“North Seattle College gave me more than a degree, it helped me rebuild my confidence, gave me the right tools, and gave me a second chance to believe in myself.”
