This award recognizes excellence and outstanding contributions within the pharmacy community. Leann and North were celebrated at the WSPA Annual Meeting Nov. 8-9 at Suncadia Resort.
WSPA's recognition of Dittmar
Leann's dedication to addressing one of the industry's most pressing challenges—the shortage of pharmacy technicians—sets her apart as a leader in the profession. Dr. Dittmar has worked tirelessly to create solutions to this critical issue, helping to develop and train more qualified pharmacy technicians across the state. As both a pharmacist and a physician assistant (PA), she has not only mentored future technicians but has also been actively involved in multiple committees and worked in partnership with the WSPA in efforts to increase the number of skilled technicians in the field. Her efforts have included helping Sno-Isle Tech launch a high school pharmacy technician apprentice program, which is essential for cultivating the next generation of technicians.
