NSC Students Awarded NASA Space Grant Scholarships
North Seattle College is proud to recognize five outstanding students — Logan Cram, Carolina Gutierrez, Aiden Hunter, Davide Santucci, and George Sidles — who have been selected as recipients of this year’s NASA Washington Space Grant Scholarship.
Each student will receive a $2,000 award and the opportunity to present their work at the NASA Washington Space Grant Symposium this September, where scholars from across the state gather to share research and connect with peers and industry professionals.
The NASA Washington Space Grant Scholarship supports community college students pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields who plan to transfer to a four-year university. This year’s recipients represent a wide range of future career paths, including photonics, rocket propulsion, fusion energy, robotics, and conservation and restoration science.
Established in 1989, the NASA Space Grant program is a nationwide network of colleges and universities dedicated to advancing space exploration and innovation. The program provides students with valuable hands-on opportunities through research experiences, internships, and scholarships.
North Seattle College has been a member of the NASA Washington Space Grant Consortium since 2014, continuing its commitment to supporting student success and expanding access to STEM education.
