You Could Be This Year's Commencement Graduate Speaker
Graduate speakers are a highlight of our commencement ceremony. If you are graduating and want to share your experience with thousands of your fellow graduates and their families, apply below. One graduate is selected from each of the Seattle Colleges (North, Central, and South).
To apply you must:
- Complete a BAS, AA, AS, AAS, or certificate.
- Apply for graduation and complete all necessary credits by the end of the spring quarter.
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA or higher.
- Must be available for a first-round interview.
- Must be willing to commit to practicing speech with communications team, record address on camera in April.
- Must attend and participate in both commencement ceremonies at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
- Consider (as your schedule allows) making brief remarks at your alma mater on College President's Day in September.
