Venus Vs. directed by Ava DuVernay, an veritable trailblazer in the independent film world.  Her previously accomplished films include "Selma," and "Pariah".  DuVernay is an inspiring black woman filmmaker whose work we eagerly bring to you.

  • Referrals to the OCE&E: public health nurse, domestic violence advocate, mental health counselors and career navigators
  • Connection to Seattle area community resources and programs for low-income individuals and families: legal clinics, health clinics, LGBTQ resources, childcare, etc.
  • YWCA’s Working Wardrobe vouchers for professional clothing
  • Free disposable pads and information about alternatives to disposables
  • Free male condoms
  • Recommendations for books and DVDs
  • Connections to campus life, student activities and clubs
