Saturday April 25
The North Seattle College Rocketry Club, in conjunction with the Washington NASA Space Grant, will launch two rockets sometime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at a field near Mansfield, Washington, under the auspices of the National Association of Rocketry. At this event, there will be more than 60 rockets launched of different types, made by clubs like ours at different schools and by individuals with a passion for rocketry – the event is free and open to the public. Some safety rules will be explained at the event.
Can’t or don’t want to make the four-hour drive? We’ll have a video of the launch at the Making Learning Visible symposium Wednesday, June 3; come to the Astronomy 102/Rocketry Club display.
