Summer Hours in Effect through September 4

This summer, North is again on a revised weekly operating schedule. The college will officially close at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. Summer hours began on Monday, July 6, 2015, and will run through Friday, September 4. The abbreviated hours will help to reduce utility costs and at the same time offer employees more flexible summer schedules.

Coop Preschools Now Enrolling for 2015-2016

The co-op preschool classes at North Seattle College provide a strong program designed to encourage the social, emotional, physical, and mental development of young children. We offer 42 different classes from infant through pre-kindergarten, with one new kindergarten option as well. Co-op is more than a preschool - it's a community.

New Non Major Chem Course for Fall

Science Within Reach: CHEM&110, Chemistry and Society. This is a new non-majors chemistry class for fall quarter that fulfills the lab science requirement for the AA degree.

This course is chemistry for students who need a lab science class but have previously been unsure about taking chemistry, or thought chemistry was too hard, too geeky or not relevant. If you’ve never taken a science course or a science lab and are not going into nursing or medical-technical fields, this is the class for you.
