The library recently received an award of books and films from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) called the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf thanks to a proposal written by Aryana Bates, faculty librarian!
The collection consists of twenty-five books and three DVDs. Included is a list of other titles for further reading, and sample discussion points that can be used for instruction. The resources are now available and on display in the library. Also, see our Reading Guide for a list of the titles and details of the grant.
We are planning an open house event for June 5th to celebrate this remarkable collection and share some of the additional resources that came with the award. Please stop in and check out the new resources-literarily!
