Participants Sought for Faculty Development Symposium

Have you, your program and/or your department made some changes this year? Did you, your program and/or your department work on curriculum, program review or any other project this year?

The Teaching and Learning Center is hosting a Making Teaching Visible Symposium, providing an opportunity for faculty across different departments and programs to come together and reflect on their teaching experiences for the year. The Symposium will be held on Friday, June 3 from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the North Star Dining Room.
Please come and share your “critical moments in andragogy” with your peers. We are asking faculty to present about a “key moment” or highlight in teaching. Your presentation should be no more than 10 minutes and can take any form you want (speech, PowerPoint, video, skit, etc.).
This event is a great opportunity to find out what your colleagues have been up to this year and to share your own experiences. Snacks and refreshments will be provided by NSCC’s Food Services. Please email Jamila Barton at to let her know if you and your department are interested in participating.
