New Logins Required at North's Computer Labs & Classrooms

Did something about the computers on campus change?

Yes, there has been a big change to the computers. Please note the following:

  • All computers now have Windows 10
  • Your NetID account will no longer work to login to the computers
  • To access the computers, you will need to login with your EAD account.

How do I get my EAD account login?

If you do not have an EAD account login or you have not used your EAD account before, or if you have forgotten your password, you will need to initialize your EAD account before the first use, by resetting your password at (choose “reset password” tab). You will need your Student Identification number (SID) and your pin to complete this action.

Some students already use their EAD accounts as their Seattle Colleges email accounts.  Those students will not need to take any separate account action, other than logging in with their email credentials.  EAD accounts are in the format  For instance, my EAD is  Logging in to North’s computers will work just using the first part of your EAD (for instance, cindy.riche will work  ( is not necessary).

What if I forget this when I get to a lab or classroom?

All Labs and classrooms will have signs which explain the need to login with your EAD account, and how to initialize your account if you haven’t yet.

What if I want to do this now, before I get to my lab or classroom?

You can do this at any time by clicking on the link in this email and then choosing the “reset password” tab.  Also, you will find icons on the desktop of the kiosks around campus, which will automatically bring up a webpage that will allow you to initialize/reset your EAD password.  These kiosks are located here:

  • Library
  • Student Learning Center
  • Open Computer Lab (IB 3303)
  • eight kiosks located between ARRC and Advising.
