Chromebooks Available for Spring Quarter Students
The North Seattle College Library is making a limited number of Chromebook laptop computers available to students to better enable them to continue their studies online, using Canvas. Eligible students may use the computers and return them at the end of spring quarter to the library. Computers will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until the supply is exhausted, so you need to act now.
To be eligible, you must:
• Not have a computer at home to use.
• Be registered for and taking for-credit classes spring quarter (including ABE, ESL and IBEST students). Not-for-credit continuing education classes are not eligible.
• Have access to internet service at home.
• Have received a referral form from one of the referring areas listed below.
Priority will be given to students who are also caregivers (children, other family members) and need to be home, and other students with substantial economic need.
To receive a referral for a computer, you need to contact one of the referral areas listed below who will verify your eligibility and issue a referral form. You will need this form to pick up your computer next week. Your referral staff will arrange to have your computer delivered to you at your home by an NSC staff member, maintaining social distancing.
